My drinking friend Nick had a little birthday gathering last weekend. He is a whiskey and cocktail specialist, but is also very knowledgeable of sake, favoring flavorful ones.
The gift: "Furosen" from Shiga prefecture. "Furosen" literally means "never aging spring" - what a perfect name for a birthday gift!
To wish for my good drinking buddy's hepatic health for the years to come, I added a sparkly liver on the bottle too ("肝" means "liver").
